ACE again expects to offer a Presidential Session at the Southern Economics Association’s 2024 meetings, to be held in Washington, D.C., November 23-25. ACE thanks Ngina Chiteji for her good offices in making this possible.
Subject areas are open, but ideally this session would feature scholarship that explores connections between religion and economic activity (in the past or the present) or focuses on areas of particular interest to Christian economists. Presidential Session proposals undergo expedited review and therefore have a high likelihood of acceptance.
Interested authors should email a paper title and an abstract (1,000 characters or less, or approximately 250 words), along with author’s name, affiliation, and email address to ACE President Stephen Smith at [email protected] by Thursday, March 28. Questions are welcome, too, and may be sent to the same address. (For co-authored papers, please submit the relevant information for all authors.) Junior scholars are especially encouraged to apply.
ACE will notify authors in early April about inclusion in the session; the SEA expects to send its official notices of acceptance with instructions for registration in mid-June.
