ACE Luncheon & Business Meeting

This year’s luncheon and business meeting will occur at the ASSA conference between the two sessions hosted by ACE.

Lunch will include a three-course meal (appetizer, entrée, & dessert) in addition to fountain drinks, coffee, tea and water. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available by request.

We are accepting payment in advance of the meetings through our PayPal account. We will be collecting payments (cash, credit card, or check) at the luncheon as well. Click below to prepay for your luncheon (which would be a great help!).

Samford University – Job Posting

Samford University’s Brock School of Business invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to apply for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor within the Economics, Finance & Quantitative Analysis Department. This tenure-track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2021.

Applicants for this position must exhibit strong teaching skills, be supportive of the University’s mission, and be committed to maintaining an ongoing research effort. The normal teaching load for faculty is 3 courses per semester, and research is required, although research expectations are reasonable and commensurate with the teaching load. Summer teaching and competitive research grants are also available. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability and motivation to develop meaningful mentoring relationships with Brock School of Business students both inside and outside the classroom. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, students and colleagues is expected. Qualified candidates will hold an earned Doctorate in Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Information Science, Economics or other closely related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching and evidence of research productivity. ABDs near completion will be considered.
