The Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy’s Religious Liberty in the States (RLS) is a project measuring legal safeguards for religious liberty across the United States. It allows office holders, community leaders, citizens, and scholars to compare state constitutions and statutory laws with respect to certain legal safeguards intended to protect citizens’ free exercise rights.
The RLS Launch Event will be live-streamed and is scheduled for September 14th at 11:00am ET. Additional details can be found here.
Additionally, Dr. Sarah Estelle of Hope College, director of the RLS, and fellow ACE member is planning to host a lunch at the Southern Economic Association meetings in November for interested economists to learn more about the project. ACE members (and others) interested in the details can email her at estelle@hope.edu.
