Job opening – LCC international

LCC International University invites applications for an open-rank position in Economics, within the Business Administration department, to begin Fall 2019. Areas of specialization are open; the applicant may enhance current areas of faculty expertise or supplement the departmental portfolio with new offerings in an expanding economics concentration. The position involves teaching, advising, maintaining modest research activity, and participating in the intellectual life of the campus. The position offers unique opportunities for teaching and research in the Baltic region and all parts of Europe.

LCC is an accredited, BA-granting Christian liberal arts university located in Klaipeda, Lithuania, on the Baltic Sea. We seek to be the leading Christian liberal arts university in Europe, renowned for a flourishing academic community, spiritual vitality, and global impact. LCC graduates contribute to building the networks of civil society, within the context of a Christian worldview, in Western and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and beyond.

LCC offers short- and well as long-term career opportunities at all levels — for recent PhDs gaining experience in teaching and scholarship, for mid-career scholars spending a sabbatical leave or Fulbright fellowship in a unique, diverse environment, and for seasoned professors pursuing cultural or missional activities for a year (or several) as they move toward (or beyond) retirement.

Informal inquiries may be directed to department chair (and ACE member) Douglas Puffert, dpuffert@lcc.lt.
