Visiting position (’18-’19) – Wheaton College

The Business and Economics Department of Wheaton College is inviting applicants for a visiting position. Although the primary search is for a one-year visiting assistant professor beginning August 2018, the department also invites applicants interested in teaching for a semester or on a per-course basis during the 2018-2019 academic year, perhaps as part of sabbatical. A Ph.D. in economics is preferred but an ABD in economics will be considered. Teaching responsibilities would include some, but not all, of the following courses: principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, statistics, econometrics, and upper-division economics electives.

Cover letter and curriculum vitae should be sent to stephen.bretsen@wheaton.edu. Applications will be sent to promising candidates.
