The Department of Economics at Calvin College is seeking a qualified candidate for a Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor position, starting in August 2018.  This individual must be qualified and able to teach introductory and/or intermediate courses in Economics.  We seek candidates who are also able to teach courses dealing with Regional Economies (Africa, Asia or Latin America) and/or Emerging Economies in addition to another field course.  Excellent teaching, student mentoring and quality research are required.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or directly related field from an accredited university. https://calvin.edu/academics/departments-programs/economics/about/open-positions/

The Department of Economics and the International Development Studies Program at Calvin College are
seeking a qualified candidate for a Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor position, starting in
August 2018, pending administrative approval. This individual must be qualified and is expected to
teach introductory and/or intermediate courses in Economics, especially courses emphasizing economic
development, as well as international development. We seek candidates who are able to teach courses
dealing with Development theory, International Development, Regional Economics (Africa, Asia or Latin
America) and/or Emerging Economies. Excellent teaching, student mentoring and quality research are
required. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or directly related field from an accredited
university.
